TBS Movie Extra - Mike Siegel

Host Mike Siegel can also currently be seen every week as the host of "What You Get For the Money" on the Fine Living Channel. He began his television career as a VH1 on-air personality, then moved on to host the NBC hidden-camera special "Payback."

Siegel has also been seen on the small screen as an actor. He was a recurring guest star on the CBS drama "JAG," and had supporting roles in such shows as "24" (FOX), "Less Than Perfect" (ABC), "Eve" (UPN), "Strong Medicine" (Lifetime), "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" (FOX), and "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" (WB).

On the big screen, Siegel appeared in the Academy Award®-winning film Traffic, directed by Steven Soderbergh. He also appeared in the independent film The Godfather of Green Bay with Lauren Holly and Tony Goldwyn, and played the lead in Inside Out, a short film directed by L. Zane.

Siegel has performed stand-up on numerous television shows, including "Late Friday," "Comedy Showcase with Louie Anderson" and "Friday Night," all on NBC; and "Stand-up, Stand-up" on Comedy Central. He still performs regularly at colleges and top nationwide clubs, including "The Improv," "The Laugh Factory" and "Catch a Rising Star."

Siegel graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Journalism and studied acting in both New York and Los Angeles. He is an avid sports fan and a rock-n-roll trivia buff.
